Russia recently developed it’s Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft leaving behind China’s JF-20 and U.S.A’s Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor. The Sukhoi Su-57 is a fifth generation,twin-engine multirole fighter aircraft of Russian origin. The fighter has been called multirole aircraft due to its air superiority,attacking capabilities and its advance stealth features.
The Sukhoi SU-57 is capable of both aerial combat and ground targets . The jet can also hit the naval targets too.Sukhoi SU-57 is considered as the most advanced aircraft of Russia till date.
The aircraft took its first flight on January 29 ,2010 and is expected to serve the Russian Air Force for 35 years.
Russian Air Force’s Commander-in-Chief on August 8 ,2007 announced that the development stage of the jet was complete and construction of the first aircraft for the flight testing would begin by 2009.
In the year 2009, the official aircraft’s design was approved by the agencies .
The Flight testing stage was delayed because The Deputy Prime Minister announced in December 2009 that the first trials would begin in early 2010.
The first flight test was successfully completed on December 24 , 2009.T-50-1 was the first prototype of the aircraftand was successfully tested , on 29 January 2010.

The Sukhoi Su-57 uses Saturn AL-41, Saturn AL-31, Turbofan engines .
The new engine which is being used is estimated to produce approximately 107 kN of thrust and 176 kN in afterburner.

The Sukhoi Su-57 is having a advance glass cockpit with multi-functional LCD displays similar to the arrangement of the Sukhoi Su-35S. The cockpit provides the pilot a wide-angle of 30° by 22° HUD.
The Primary controls are the joystick (like other aircrafts) and a pair of throttles for better control over the aircraft.
